探索法鼓山
下了一週的雨，昨天開始放晴，今天(10/24)豔陽高照，決定帶爸媽到法鼓山走走……很久沒有來金山，對陌生的法鼓山，邊開邊想～是否開過頭了？

2009TBCA女性領導人培訓--學習與感動
無限放大優點，缺點就不見了
第二次參加中華民國乳癌病友協會主辦的「女性領導人培訓」，來參加的是北中南東各地的乳癌病友姐妹，3月17日到19，三天的課程從「點」、「線」到「面」，六十幾位原本不太認識的姐妹們，經過廿幾個小時的課程討論，最後用行動劇所呈現的「共識」，卻是非常相近，大家最終的希望都是－－提高乳癌篩選率，共享「有愛無癌」的生活。

用全心付出後所得到的歡喜是法喜
It was hot last Tuesday. Soon after finishing lunch, I rushed to Tzu Chi Taipei branch office to get the Korean soap opera DVD which I borrowed from a member of the Foreign Language Team. While I was ready to leave there, an elderly of my mother’s age walked to me and asked me how to get to Taipei City Library. After telling her where to get the bus, I quickly jumped onto my motorcycle. But a thought stopped me from leaving.
I thought that it was cruel for an elderly to walk that far to take the bus under the scorching sun so I stopped and returned to ask that lady if I could give her a ride. She answered delightedly, “Of course, if you have another helmet.”

One Day Trip in Mu Cha
It was supposed to rain whole day long according to the weather forecast, but to our great surprise, it stopped raining past noon. Seemed my pray did work.
Due to the morning rain there were fewer people than usual in the swimming pool and so we all enjoyed the SPA and swim to our heart content. For the sake of accompanying friends, I did not swim as much as I usually did. It was more interesting to have friends enjoy SPA together. I was grateful for their coming on a raining day.

Great Donors
Last December, I read the news on Ta-Ai TV that Tzu Chi General Hospital just got the 1000th matched bone marrow. I felt extremely happy like other volunteers. What's more, I had never expected that I would receive the courier who came to collect the 1000th bone marrow.
When the American courier met me at the Taipei Airport, he said to me, “Christine, do you know what has happened today?” I had no ready answer in mind. He continued, “The bone marrow I carried was the 1000th case of your hospital.” Wow, that was really something indeed. I could not wait to tell other Foreign Language Team members how lucky I was.
